“Nicole was just amazing. I don’t know what I would have done without her. I literally did not have to worry about ANYTHING! Everyone commented on how smooth my wedding went. I strongly recommend the wedding league for any wedding.”
Sandy Abdelkedous-Hanna
Sandy and Sam came to me when they were beginning to hit a wall. They knew that having a wedding coordinator would be the smart thing to do to manage all their guests and help pull everything together at the end.
Having been together for several years, Sandy and Sam knew the time was right for them to be joined together. Both come from very big families and therefore it all had to look perfect. The only style that would fit these two would be a lavish affair. Anything less would have been a true injustice.
The great thing about the ballroom is that is was a completely clean slate, lending itself very well to the red and gold we put everywhere. Drapery hung off the ceilings while their sweetheart table was elevated for everyone to see. But why stop there? We had a spectacular backdrop with drapery and lights as the couple sat on royal thrones.
Theirs was truly a fairy tale wedding. The bride looked absolutely gorgeous as the bridesmaids helped her climb into her princess dress. The groom just looked at her with pure awe and joy; every now and then you could catch him getting teary eyed.
With close to 400 people we knew how important it was to put all elements of their lavish fairytale wedding together. Keeping one of our team members with the bride at all times, I was able to be in the ballroom while the five-tier cake was delivered and decorated with gold and red roses. I was able to set up the fabulous escort card table in a fun way making it an eye catching focal point for the cocktail hour.
Entertainment was important for the couple and we knew that planning and execution of the day had to be perfect. The band kept everyone on their feet, the slide show maybe everyone laugh and cry, and a surprise show from the amazing belly dancers topped off the whole evening.
With so many guests we had to make sure everyone was happy and that means we were constantly moving. It was all worth it at the end of the night when the bride and groom kept giving us hugs, thanks, and flowers.

“We were very specific about our vision of the day, and on the day of, it was all PERFECT. It was so nice to have someone that day that would make sure things would be done the way we wanted while we relaxed, enjoyed our family, and just took in the day. No one had to ask either of us a question all day, everyone knew to go to Nicole with questions or concerns and she handled everything beautifully.”
Sharlene & Steve Jackson
Their love for horses brought them together, but their love for each other kept them close. Once Stephen proposed to the young Sharlene she didn’t hesitate to say yes.
Their wedding was beautiful, romantic, and full of personality. While she was getting ready to put on her huge Cinderella ball gown, all the bridesmaids unwrapped their gifts adorned with leopard ribbon—the brides’ favorite print.
The photographer proceed to captured beautiful moments as her mother helped her into her dress and then proceeded to weave the sating ribbons through the bodice. She was nervous but radiant all the same.
A limo took them to her childhood church where Stephen was hiding in the wings. I asked him how he was feeling and he smiled, winked, and then said to me in his thick Irish accent, “I couldn’t be happier.”
The look on Stephen’s face as Sharlene came down the isle was priceless. He certainly was happy. When the ceremony and pictures were over the couple got into an old town car and drove off to take their romantic photos while the rest of the guests continued to the cocktail hour.
The reception was being held at the Pasadena Masonic Temple and it was perfect for the couple. The band set up on the stage with the head table directly below it. The dance floor was outlined with spectacular green shrubs to accent their love of nature and the outdoors.
But it was the tables that really made the room outstanding. Each table had a tall gorgeous centerpiece dripping with crimson and gold accents. The red roses were remarkable, full and ripe. Petals and candles scattered the base of the huge vase. The chargers were gold and the accents of gold and brown wove through the place settings.
Sharlene and Stephen were stunned at the transformation of the place.
The rest of the evening was magical with the mariachi band playing for her mother’s heritage, the long winded but heart warming speech from the best man, and the welcome toast from her father that he had been nervous about all week.
The evening went on with delicious food and wonderful dancing. The end of the night was marked by the wheeling out of the incredible cake with red roses sprinkled all over it. And as guests leave they could take their favor: a brown gift bag to be filled with candy from the red and gold candy bar.
The night was perfect.
